Tours — Big Trees Tours

Start at the Upper Sherman Tree parking lot and follow the paved trail down to the iconic and largest tree by volume the General Sherman Tree. Then follow the paved Congress Trail up to the heart of the Giant Forest where we will find many more large sequoia trees.

This program meets at the Upper Sherman Parking Lot at 10AM. This parking lot is 1 hour from the entrance station near Three Rivers and 1 hour from Grant Grove. Expect traffic delays during summer peaks and holidays. Expect long lines at entrance stations.

Visual Accommodations Unavailable: This is a visual program.

Start at the Crescent Meadow parking lot and follow the paved trail to Tharp’s Log. Then step onto dirt trail as we finish the climb the switchbacks. Here we will gain a canopy view of the surrounding giant sequoias before dropping back down to the Senate Group and head back to Crescent Meadow.
$400.00 for 1 to 7 people
This program meets at the Crescent Meadow Parking Lot at 2PM. This parking lot is 1 hour and 15 minutes from the entrance station near Three Rivers and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Grant Grove. Expect traffic delays during summer peaks and holidays. Expect long lines at entrance stations.

Walking Accommodations Unavailable: Unpaved path will have tree roots and rocks that will be difficult for wheelchairs and crutches. Please see Custom Tours for better options.

Design your trip how you like. Pick between 2 hour and 6 hours a day or multiple days. Choose any location in the Giant Forest, Lodgepole, Foothills, Grant Grove, Cedar Grove, or Mineral King areas. Excluding closed areas.
$100 custom itinerary fee (non-refundable)
